Put simply, if you’re looking for a new opportunity, this is a great place to grow your career.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p>- Executes and is responsible for basic alteration services (i.e. Hemming, patch and repair, tapering, etc.) and more technical alterations (e.g. Fitting/tailoring items other than jeans, where more technical equipment is necessary; detailed appearance altering processes.)<br />- Exemplifies and possesses strong customer service skills to elevate our clients experience.<br />- Educates and trains store teams on customer offerings and services provided by the Tailor Shop.<br />- Assist with responsibilities on the selling floor and fitting room as needed or as requested by store management<br />- Comply with all Levi’s® policy and programs.</p><p>Job Requirements:</p><p>- Thorough understanding of denim industry and current/upcoming trends.<br />- Understanding of textiles and fabrics with proven skills in sewing, tailoring and textile repair.<br />- Awareness of design and details strong communication skills both internally and externally.</p><p>Education:</p><p>- Bachelors or Associates Degree preferred<br />- Formal Training in apparel design preferred</p><p>Experience:</p><p>- Minimum of 1 years of sewing/tailoring experience and a strong knowledge of jeans construction<br />- Thorough knowledge of machines used in the sewing of denim products.</p><p>Physical Requirements:</p><p>- While performing the duties of the job the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear, use hands to type and utilize the tools of tailor shop.<br />- The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, lift, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.<br />- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.</p><p>Schedule Requirements:</p><p>- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening and weekend shifts.</p><p></p><p></p><h2><b><span>EOE M/F/Disability/Vets</span></b></h2><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2></h2><h2><b>LOCATION</b></h2>Arlington, VA, USA<h2></h2><h2><b>FULL TIME/PART TIME</b></h2>Part time<h2><b><u><a href="http://wd5.myworkday.com/levistraussandco/d/task/1422$6600.htmld" target="_blank"><span class="emphasis">Current LS&Co Employees, apply via your Workday account.</span></a></u></b></h2><p></p>
